Who is Ignite Nebraska?

We build careers from the ground up.

Ignite Nebraska is an Omaha-based workforce development nonprofit. We prepare motivated job seekers — people with the drive, resilience, and hunger to succeed — for careers in technology, healthcare, and professional fields.

Our candidates move through one of four tracks: the 10×10 Program for foundational career readiness, Ignite Tech for technology careers, Ignite Health for healthcare pathways, and Ignite Works for professional and workforce roles. Every participant works with a career navigator, completes a personality and work style assessment, and graduates with a resume, interview skills, and a plan.

What they also have — and what you can’t teach — is a fire in their belly. The Ignite Employer Network connects those candidates with employers who are ready to say yes.

The Ignite Employer Network is a group of Nebraska employers who believe that a motivated, career-ready candidate deserves a real shot. As a Network Partner, you commit to one thing: offer a first-round interview to any Ignite candidate we refer who meets your stated criteria.

In return, Ignite does the post-hire retention work most employers don’t have time for — at no cost to you.

Referrals are matched to your stated role types. You only hear from us when there’s a real fit.

Before day one, you receive the manager playbook and a warm intro from your navigator.

Your navigator stays involved for six months — checking in with you and the employee.
