The Partnership

What we set out to prove.

Google's Council Bluffs Data Center — one of the largest in the country — had an urgent backfill need for Data Center Technician roles. The question: could Ignite-trained candidates from nontraditional backgrounds meet the technical and professional standards required?

The pilot was a direct-to-hire model — no intermediary, no long lead time. Ignite Nebraska's Executive Director, COO, and Navigator worked alongside Google's Operations Manager, Hiring Manager, and Recruiter from first conversation to final offer.
